Looking for a simple, but rugged one-piece clip that is easy to install? The 300 Rugged, one-piece, all plastic belt clip is a good choice.

Easy to use, the 300 belt clip is made with a super strong poly-carbonate mix. The 300 clip has a smooth upturn that makes it easy to put on a belt, or clip to a bag or pocket.

This clip is designed to be riveted, or screwed into place, or attached with 3M VHB Adhesive tape.

This specific clip makes a perfect replacement clip for most tape measures.  Simply unscrew what's left of the old metal clip and clean the area with the included alcohol swab.  Then peel the paper on one side of the 3M VHB tape (both sides are the same) and apply the tape to the belt clip first. Rub firmly on the remaining paper side to fully bond the adhesive to the belt clip. Then peel off the remaining paper cover and center the belt clip on the clean back of the tape measure.  Once you're sure it's in the right place let it drop very lightly onto the surface.  Pick up your tape measure and make sure the clip looks properly positioned. If you need to move it one in the first minute, that's OK, just lift if slowly and let the adhesive 'release'. Once you're sure the clip is perfect, press down hard on the entire base of the belt clip to insure good contact. We recommend you place it under some pressure for a few hours, if you need a super heavy-duty bond. Perhaps under a phone book, or a chair leg. For lighter duty applications, this step is unnecessary. 

3M VHB Adhesive tape can also be used very effectively and you may choose without or with strong 3M adhesive tape (removable) as an option when you order. 3M VHB Adhesive Tape works great on smooth, hard surfaces. It does not work on leather, cloth, soft surfaces, silicone, rubber or fabrics.

The VHB stands for Very High Bond and it will NOT fail suddenly on a clean hard surface.  In all likelihood, the clip would break before this adhesive fails.  To remove 3M VHB, cut through it with dental floss or fishing line and any remaining little bits will easily roll off with your fingers.
